Fixing / rerouting Guttering

Our previous home owner did odd and short sighted things with a waterbutt and guttering at the back of the house. It needs fixed but I don't even know where to start with looking for someone to fix it.

Any suggestions??

Options will depend on the height as you might need a cherry picker or scaffolding. The job itself might be fairly easy so would try a handyman first and then see were you go from there.

It's not that high - it's just a bit complicated as a complex (basically all the guttering from the back end of the house goes into a water butt - and that's it - so there's overflow damaging the wall behind it.

Thanks for the suggestions - will look into thembut keep them coming

maybe they used more water around the garden?
attach a hose to the tap and drain off when its getting full

Yeah, I'm guessing they do, but we're not gardeners in the same way so we'd like a more permanent solution
